Andrea Vandin is now Honorary Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Andrea Vandin, an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Sant'Anna and active member of our EMbeDS community, has been awarded the title of Honorary Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

This is an honorary title that DTU bestows on no more than 45 individuals every year (only 38 were awarded by September 2020).
Based on Danish law, the title is conferred to researchers of the highest academic standing with whom DTU wishes to associate closely and strengthen collaborations.

DTU is one of the most prestigious universities in Europe. For instance, according to the World University Research Rankings 2020, DTU ranks second in the world and first in Europe based on research-related indicators.

We look forward to establishing and strengthening collaborations between EMbeDS, and Sant'Anna as a whole, and DTU.
